Christ is Risen, dear brothers and sisters!

We had a beautiful weekend of services for the 5th Sunday after Pascha, Sunday of the Samaritan Woman.

On Saturday, we celebrated Great Vespers, followed by a lovely time of fellowship over tea and coffee. Faithful, catechumens, and first-time visitors all enjoyed being together.

On Sunday, we celebrated Orthros and the Divine Liturgy, with many in attendance. After the service, we blessed a Phanouropita – a sweet bread offered in remembrance of St Phanourius – brought by one of our catechumens and his wife. Through the intercessions of St Phanourius, they were helped to recover a very important item they had lost. The Phanouropita was shared and enjoyed during the parish lunch.

Thank you to our chanters, servers, and everyone who helped with lunch, cleaning, setting up, and packing the church.

Thank you all for coming!

Our next service will be on the Sunday of Pentecost, 8th June, and will be followed by the baptism of an adult catechumen. Everyone is warmly welcome!
